The US couldn’t destabilise Central Asia when it was occupying Afghanistan. How could it stir trouble for China by occupying Iran? I doubt this gives US leverage over China. Anyway, let’s hope the US runs out of planes and missiles (due to RE restrictions) before it manages to overthrow the current Iranian government.
