Riveting deeply thought provoking and for me -- deeply disturbing and sobering read. When some run amuck with power, we can only pray for the rare few wise, blessedly still amongst us and guided by the Almighty -- return our World to calmer waters.
I hope that we can get out of this terrifying situation with as little death and destruction as possible. Trump and Netanyahu are concerned only about themselves, and there's so much at risk.
I am completely convinced that the writer has absolutely lost his grip on reality! He does not know what conversations are going on , he can only surmise . Unless he is eavesdropping (which is impossible) I have every reason to assume that his imagination is a total overreach of reality . It’s dangerous to assume too much . No one has a crystal ball view on this unfolding situation . This dialog borders on the ridiculous and I for one will refuse to accept assumed realities from fairytales
It is not only Trump and his advisors who are to blame for the twin imbroglios of Iran and Ukraine. Blame goes back through every previous US President to the Reagan period and Zbigniew Brezynski's doctrine developed in his book "The Grand Chessboard". He promoted the idea that the key to global power lies in the Eurasian landmass (Europe, Russia, Central Asia, and China). He argued that the United States should prevent any single rival power from dominating Eurasia because such a power could challenge American global leadership. His ideas formed the core of US Foreign Policy that has been in action ever since. Trump would be in a totally different situation now if he were to cut supply ties with both Israel and Ukraine. Neither Netanyahu nor Zelensky can survive without US assistance.
My predictions: As a last ditch stand, Netanyahu will threaten a nuclear device attack on Iran if Trump moves to withdraw US military aid to Israel. Thus Trump will remain "wedged".
As for Zelensky; he will be dealt with by Putin and Trump will not intervene.
Cornered animals are dangerous. Nuclear armed ones, decidedly more so.

Are you still riding your pet unicorn?
The writer is a woman. She is.
