CIS-BRICS Forum 2025: Exploring Economic and Global Cooperation
Exploring the rising CIS-BRICS alliance: How Eurasian integration and Global South influence are shaping a new world order through trade, security, and innovation at Moscow 2025.
As Think BRICS, we're on the ground in Moscow, deeply engaged with an important forum that places the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) at the heart of the BRICS nations' expanding global strategy, scheduled for March 28, 2025. This is simply a conference that represents a crucial assembly for dissecting the developing dynamics within Eurasia, as well as the increasing relevance of the Global South. Our role as a media partner allows us unique access to deliver detailed coverage and insightful analysis.
CIS & BRICS: Redefining Global Power Dynamics
Born from the Soviet Union’s collapse, the CIS (1993) binds Eurasian nations through economic, political, and military cooperation. Meanwhile, BRICS—expanding in 2023 to include Iran, Ethiopia, UAE, and Egypt—has become a counterweight to Western hegemony, amplifying the Global South’s voice.
The 2024 “BRICS Partners Belt” ignited a tectonic shift: Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, dual members of both blocs, now anchor a strategic corridor linking CIS infrastructure and resources with BRICS capital and influence. This fusion unlocks synergies—energy security, de-dollarization, trade networks—while challenging outdated global hierarchies.
As the West fractures, this alliance is quietly rewriting the rules. CIS-BRICS collaboration isn’t just diplomacy—it’s the blueprint for a multipolar world where ambition spans continents. The revolution is here.
