I am your channel subscriber from Canada. But, I am from India.

The reason to subscribe to your channel is more so for India and not for be being here in Canada.

I hope you can now understand, how ones country of origin may impact one’s social media consumption choices.

All for the right reasons!!

Hi, happy to hear you're one of our beautiful followers... but maybe we are missing your point. Can you be more clear about the relation you mentioned in your comment?

Immigrant to Canada from India. Country of origin being India when I migrated to Canada.

Does that make sense now?

I am a big time fan of watching YouTube content. Generally for India, Asia, North America and some global affairs.

I had in fact picked up on your YouTube channel first then I got a link about this Substack subscription. I call YouTube and this app my social media consumption. My daily dose! Which I take in a lot and on a regular basis as well!

Hope this clarifies!

This other part was also already clear, just want to understand the relationship between being an Indian in Canada, the fact that you like watching this kind of videos, and the contents discussed in this specific video. 😊

Your replies somehow came as repeat messages.

I don’t have nothing more to clarify.

I like BRICS concept and I am hoping that india gets more involved in this forum. In an active fashion.

I am watching it for India. To encourage India to get more involved in BRICS to enable multipolarity concept for Asia and the global south. For India to become a champion participant of the BRICS forum.

Watching and supporting India to engage more with BRICS.

I like geopolitical affairs related news.

And, I like the idea of multipolarity, which BRICS sounds like a good concept to carry that idea forward.

We need multipolarity, not hegemony.

So, you can see, I am able to carry my own opinion of things even if I am here in Canada. Freedom of holding one’s political or geopolitical opinion is allowed here in Canada. So long as I am not interfering in any other sense to any rules and regulations of Canada.

I have a right to shape my own opinion of things, when it comes to political currents, news updates.

Do you agree?

Finally, someone is talking about Canada as part of the British Commonwealth & all that entails. I have seen it as a container for USA. When USA was created by wealthy British landowners, the design was to have it be free to expand--but within limits. To the south it was stopped by Spain. Of course, we know that most of western USA was essentially ceded (purchased at gunpoint) from Mexico. The southern border was carefully drawn. To hold in Mexico, we have Belize which is thoroughly under UK control.

I hadn't considered the fear of friendship with Russia. These days this becomes a clearer motive to have created Canada such as it is. Until recently, I hadn't known of the friendship between Russia & USA in the mid 1800's. Any good feelings about Russia have been thoroughly buried from our history.

The Roman Empire is alive & well. It is high time to realize that empires don't just fade away when they seemingly "collapse." Wealthy families with all their holdings, connections & know-how, simply move to start up again elsewhere. The Romans had already moved to England before the "collapse." It is no wonder that the British Empire emerged. It is no wonder that we have Vatican City, City of London & District of Columbia, all separate city-states. All support the same master.

It's interesting to note that the idea of regional economies, supported by some BRICS leaders, is also a cornerstone of the globalists. I remember well the discussion of the "AMERO" as the currency of Canada, USA & Mexico. Instead, we got the Free Trade Agreement. This turns out to be the harbinger of the connection. Now, we see DJT appearing to shred that agreement with tariffs. Why? Because perhaps now is the time to merge the three. Stating openly the acquisition of Canada into USA sets the stage. Threatening invasion of Mexico over imagined drug cartels signals another stage.

It's interesting to hear that House of Lord members are on the board of BRICS New Development Bank. These are the same powerful landowners that created the USA & expanded the empire across the world. The times seem to change but those who hold power do not change much.

If we really desire to change the world in which we live, we had best stop looking outward for others to do it. We all contain the pride of the hegemon, the greed & fear of the oligarch & racist superiority. We deny this at our peril. When we realize that on some level, we are they, we can then choose. We can choose how we desire to behave to our family, neighbors, strangers & even adversaries. Do we choose kindness, respect, compassion & unity?

BRICS mission seems to have got diverted somewhat recently due to the addition of undesirables from UK in the NDB, etc because of the Chinese desire for rapid expansion, like in everything else. Chinese CCP may have studied the USSR collapse very well but certainly not the history of the British empire. India may know better about this since they have bitter experience, and hence they normally advise to go slow and carefully on these matters.

Matt is a brilliant historian and political analyst, and a Canadian as I am. Canada is a very strange country as are many "countries" that have evolved from the British imperialist system. He has been a tremendous help to me interpreting the confused political and social structure of Canada. What stands out is British malevolence and depravity in global affairs and Canada's role as a chesspiece in that. With a new Trump administration in DC we have the opportunity to break that unless the British deep state finds a way to undermine and destroy Trump.

Well, they will certainly try, as the British deep state is very much a part of the Globalist Deep State which seeks power and control over ALL humanity regardless of national boundaries which they; seek to destroy; Trump represents a resurgence in American Republicanism but it remains to be seen whether it is genuine and historically based or a political reaction to the demonic tyranny of the last administration.
