Thank you so much for writing, there is fantastic content within.

Yes, there should be digital independence. Under the mosaic concept, this allows local facilitation. I think a robust regional system will be more consistent than a local system as there will be fewer interface requirements. For example, 20 regional networks are easier to interface than 190 local networks.

My first thought is to data redundancy: it should be local and non-local. Can an independent Switzerland-type region be setup for non-local hosting?

My second thought went to the regional system platform as a basis for the digital currency. That is critical. Do we want more than 20 digital currencies for trade? For trade between regions, would there be a pan-regional currency that the others trade into…a global pan-regional currency? Trade within region would use the regional currency. Would these currencies be convertible into commodities? That would be one way to value the currency other than strictly supply-demand.

How does a regional digital system interface with a BRIX environment which is pan-regional? Are there preferences for trading ‘in-BRIX-network’ but pan-regional?

The fastest way to transmit data is via satellite. Would each region need a dedicated satellite network hosted by the region (not piggy backing on a system like Starlink)? There should be enough regional space transport hubs to ensure security.

For any cables across the Atlantic, care must be taken when crossing the mid-Atlantic Ridge system due to geologic instabilities.

My personal thought on an AI vector is that, given its self programmability, that it has the capability to rapidly create social disruption. It would be great to spread the implementation over three generations, but I am pretty sure that I am outvoted on this :-)

Great article, I enjoyed reading it

The critical vulnerability is in the telecommunications suppliers, since their hardware are needed for everyone to be able to access the internet. If you don't pay your phone bill, you have no internet.
